Last Saturday I attended a drawing workshop, “To Draw = To See”, given by Annemarie Schumacher of dertigdecember, another designer at The New Label Project. Although I do not think of myself as being able to draw, I have dabbled a bit over the last few years. Annemarie taught us a few techniques that should prove useful, and I am quite pleased with my drawing of my hand. It’s a bit deformed but at least it is recognisably a hand!
I can highly recommend the workshop. Annemarie is a calm teacher and the whole experience was very enjoyable. You can see photos of the workshop on Annemarie’s blog, and also on Alexandra Feo‘s blog. Alexandra is another designer (and great photographer!) at TNLP who attended the workshop as well.
