Okay, so I’ve been obsessing about making lampwork head pins lately. Here are some different sets of single-colour teardrops. I really love the teardrop shape. I’m concentrating on transparent and translucent colours at the moment as it feels more right for teardrops (maybe because tears are transparent?).
The glass head is about 25 mm long (a little less than an inch), and about 10 mm diameter at the widest point. The wire is 0.8 mm (20 gauge) sterling silver, about 40 mm (1.5″) long.
